Welcome to Ballista Archery. Thank you for deciding to become a member of our affiliate program.

The following terms and conditions apply to anyone accessing or using the Program, whether as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) or as an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use the merchant's product or service.

By joining the program, affiliates accept to use the Program in the manner stated in these Terms and Conditions and are bound by them. You are not authorized to register as an affiliate or participate in the Program in any way if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

1. Registration Approval

In our sole and absolute discretion, we reserve the right to approve or deny ANY Affiliate Program Registration. We will review your application and traffic sources to ensure alignment with the Ballista Archery brand. For the denial of your Affiliate Program Registration, you will have no legal recourse against us.

2. Commission & Payouts

Commission Structure:

• For Influencers & Content Creators: The standard commission rate is 15% of the net order value.
• For Traffic Partners (Non-Content): For partners who generate traffic without creating unique content (e.g., through paid advertising, email lists), the commission rate ranges from 5% to 10%. The exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis and will be agreed upon before your registration is approved.

Payouts: You will be paid a commission for successfully completed transactions. The commission amount is calculated on the order value, excluding taxes and shipping costs. To receive payouts, you must set up your payment details in your affiliate account.

Locking Period & Refunds: Commissions are locked 30 days after the end of the month in which the sale occurred to account for any returns or order cancellations. Transactions that result in chargebacks or refunds are not eligible for payment.

3. Affiliate Links, Coupons & Tracking

Affiliate Links: An affiliate link is generated automatically upon approval. If a customer clicks on multiple affiliate links, the last link clicked before the purchase will receive the commission.

Cookie Duration: We use cookies to track referrals. The cookie duration is 60 days. When a customer clicks your link, the tracking period begins. You will earn a commission on any purchase made by this customer on our website during this 60-day period. Users must have cookies enabled in their browser for tracking to work.

Coupon Codes: You may be assigned a unique coupon code. You are only authorized to promote codes that are officially assigned to you through the affiliate dashboard. You will not receive a double commission if a customer uses both your affiliate link and your coupon code on the same order.

4. Paid Search (PPC) Policy

This policy is critical. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination from the program and forfeiture of all outstanding commissions.

Prohibited Brand Bidding: Affiliates are strictly prohibited from bidding on Ballista Archery's brand keywords. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Brand Names: Ballista, Ballista Archery, BAT, Megabat.
• Product Names: BAT Crossbow, BAT Reverse, Ballista Crossbow, Megabat Reverse, Megabat Crossbow.
• Variations & Misspellings: Any variations, misspellings, or derivative forms (e.g., "Balista," "Ballista bow," "Mega bat").
• Brand + Term Combinations: Bidding on keywords like "Ballista Crossbow reviews," "BAT Reverse sale," "Megabat coupon code," "Ballista discount," or "BAT promo code" is prohibited.

Required Negative Keywords: All affiliates engaged in PPC advertising MUST add the following as negative keywords to all campaigns:

• Brand & Product Names: Ballista, Ballista Archery, BAT, BAT Crossbow, BAT Reverse, Ballista Crossbow, Megabat, Megabat Reverse, Megabat Crossbow.
• Coupon & Discount Keywords: To prevent bidding on brand + discount combinations, you must also add the following terms as negative keywords: coupon, code, discount, promo, sale, voucher. This includes combinations like "ballista coupon code", "ballista code", "ballista discount code", and similar phrases.

Ad Copy & Display URL: You may not use our brand names in your ad copy headline, description, or Display URL. You may not create ads that impersonate the official Ballista Archery brand.

Direct Linking: Direct linking from PPC ads to ballista.co is strictly prohibited. All traffic must first go to your own landing page or website.

5. Website and Promotion Rules

Domain Names: You are prohibited from using our brand keywords, variations, or misspellings in your domain names.

Brand Impersonation: Your website or social media pages must not copy the look and feel of the official Ballista Archery website or profiles. You must clearly operate as an independent third-party affiliate.

Marketing Resources: We may provide promotional media (banners, logos) in the Marketing Resources tab for your use.

6. Network (Sub-Affiliates)

If the Network tab is enabled, you can invite others to become your downline affiliates using your network link. If a downline affiliate successfully refers an order, you will receive a network commission based on the program's settings.

7. Removal from the Program

If you wish to be removed from the affiliate program, you can send an email to: {contact_email}. We also reserve the right to terminate any affiliate for violating these terms.
